HBO's I'll Be Gone in the Dark

Michelle McNamara's I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer is the best true crime book I've ever read (and I've read a lot of them), so of course I was excited about HBO's six-part documentary series, which concluded last Sunday. I'll Be Gone in the Dark is thrilling, unsettling, and heartbreaking and really does the book (and Michelle) justice. If you're a fan of true crime at all (and I'll assume you are if you're reading this blog), do yourself a favor and check it out.

You can find out more about the series here (and if you're not an HBO subscriber, you can sign up for a free trial of HBO Max and watch it that way):
